Anyone with basic IT skills can simply connect the DigiFi to their home network and it will work straight out of the box, finding their stored digital music, as well as any UPnP players automatically.
But the story doesn’t end there.
DigiFi comes complete with its own suite of control interfaces. Connect a TV and you can control your DigiFi and the UPnP players using an infra-red controller (not supplied*). Those with more advanced IT skills can download software from the supplied CD (or our support area on this site) to install on a PC or WiFi-enabled PDA.
But the DigiFi really comes into its own as the heartbeat of a multi-room system.
Connected it to a home-control system, such as Pronto, Crestron or AMX (except DigiFi Mini models), the possibilities are now limitless.
Only DigiFi enables you to enjoy the flexibility of digital streaming UPnP players such as the LINN DS range, Sonos and Roku within the control of your Whole house control system.

Hook up your DigiFi to a full custom install system and you not only have control of your whole harvested music library for playout into the home, but you can also control all your Linn and Sonos (and other supported UPnP devices) with the custom install controllers as well.
* We have successfully used the IRMan Infra Red remote controller
